Common nighthawks and chimney swifts can be seen in the park at dawn or dusk. The nighthawks, which are declining in number, breed on city rooftops. The chimney swifts, not suprisingly, breed in chimneys.

On-line privacy policy


 The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy respects the privacy of individuals who contact us online and maintains the following privacy policy: 
 
Safeguards: Protecting your information is essential to delivering our privacy   commitment.  To do that, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards including an SSL encrypted link.

We collect two types of online information for Conservancy records:

1)    Standard site usage data that is not personally identifiable, such as number of visitors to our site, and

2)    Individually identifiable information that only you provide voluntarily and knowingly for Conservancy records.  If you make a donation, register for an event or register for our newsletter, for example, we may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information.

Third parties: We do not sell or barter your information to third parties. Requisite information is provided to secure vendors for credit card processing and bulk mailings.
