September 22 @ 11:00 am 12:00 pm

Families can celebrate DanceAfrica with this fun-filled, outdoor workshop, led by BAM teaching artist Yasmar Cruz. Discover how African and diasporic dance forms celebrate community, providing a unique window into the history and traditions of its people. Join us on the Liberty Lawn at Pier 6 for this free event!

Registration is required to attend this event. A limited number of spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note all attendees will need to complete our fitness waiver (those under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian complete the form on their behalf). We encourage you to complete this in advance.

For event updates and announcements, subscribe to our email and socials (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). Also check our Alerts & Event Updates page. Please note this event is subject to change to weather or other extenuating circumstances.
