DESCRIPTION:Join us for our second annual Climate Sing gathering in Brooklyn Bridge Park!\nJoin for a communal sing-along, community building, and climate awareness gathering. This year, we&#8217;re featuring a brand-new song written and led by Martha Redbone – known for her unique gumbo of folk, blues, and gospel. Come listen, and sing along! We&#8217;ll also be performing previous commissions by Sxip Shirey and Eisa Davis. Lift up your voice, participate in a joyful noise! Let’s create a new soundtrack for the planet.\nBring your picnic blankets and snacks. Also join for creative art-making activities. This free walk-up event is open to all ages.\nClimate Sing was created by Amanda Cooper, Lisa D’Amour, Katie Pearl, Jonathan McCrory, and Niegel Smith.\nThis event is a part of Make Music New York.\n.
