DESCRIPTION:Coastal Cleanup volunteers help remove debris washed up into the Park. They also record what’s collected, contributing to efforts worldwide to better understand and tackle plastic pollution.\nNote: Coastal Cleanups involve uneven surfaces, rock scrambling, bending, and light lifting.\nAdvance registration is required and spaces are limited. \nTo register:\n\nNew volunteers, please create a Volunteer Profile to sign up for opportunities  \n\n\nRegistered volunteers, please log-in to your volunteer profile to schedule yourself \n\nIf you’re signing up as a family, please email volunteer@bbp.nyc \nFull details, including location of the activity, will be emailed to registered volunteers a few days prior to the event. \nNote: If you’re not seeing any dates available when trying to sign up for a Coastal Cleanup opportunity, it’s because either all the spots have been filled, or the event has not yet opened for sign-ups.
