DESCRIPTION:Join us for an extra special Green Team to start off the season! Volunteers will support preparing our lawns for re-seeding, by helping to remove weeds from Pier 3.  \nThis is a great chance to get outdoors, learn about turf care at BBP, make a visible difference alongside other park-lovers. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.  \nVolunteers of all ages are welcome (under 16’s must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian).  \nNo orientation or gardening experience is needed; staff provide all the guidance, supervision, tools, and supplies.  \nAdvance registration is required and spaces are limited.\nTo register:  \n\nNew volunteers, please create a Volunteer Profile to sign up for opportunities  \n\n\nRegistered volunteers, please log-in to your volunteer profile to schedule yourself \n\nIf you’re signing up for a family, please email volunteer@bbp.nyc \nFull details, including location of the activity, will be emailed to registered volunteers a few days before the event.  \nNote: If you’re not seeing any dates available when trying to sign up for a Green Team opportunity, it’s either because all the spots have been filled, or the event has not yet opened for sign-ups.
