SUMMARY:Movies With A View: Bridesmaids
DESCRIPTION:We’re sad to announce that due to the impending rain, our screening of Bridesmaids is cancelled tonight. However, we do have two exciting announcements… On Thursday, August 27, we’ll be screening the Public Choice Vote Winner: Challengers!\nAND, we are adding a NEW date to our lineup! Due to the weather cancellations this summer, we are screening an additional movie on Thursday, September 3!\nOne of Brooklyn Bridge Park’s most popular series, Movies With A View presented by Persol, returns for its 26th season with outdoor films on Thursday evenings in July and August – expanding with an additional family film night on September 18.\nOn Thursday, August 20, join for Bridesmaids (R, 2011, 125 minutes)! This box-office hit comedy features career-defining performances by Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy and more.\nCome early to enjoy a picnic on the lawn and refreshing waterfront breezes, with New York Harbor and Manhattan skyline views like no other as the sun sets. Entry is free and first-come, first serve starting at 6:00 PM. Movies begin at sunset.\nPlus, stop by TBS x Rita’s treat truck for free samples of Rita’s new Shirley Temple Italian Ice, inspired by the comedies you love. Look for their treat truck at bottom of the lawn, on the promenade near our bar by Fornino.\n\nGuests are welcome to bring their own food for picnicking and encouraged to support nearby Park concessions and neighborhood restaurants. Popcorn, water, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages (for those 21+) will be available for sale on-site by Fornino. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or small soft cushions but reminded that lawn chairs and dogs are not permitted on the lawn, and glass bottles and outside alcohol are never allowed in the Park.
