DESCRIPTION:Join for an Earth Day inspired celebration by Books Are Magic, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and author-illustrator Katie Yamasaki. Katie will read from her newest picture book, Ripples! The reading will be followed by a book signing and an opportunity to take part in a family friendly arts and crafts project, led by Brooklyn Bridge Park staff, to help care for the Park’s green spaces. \n\nCelebrated artist Katie Yamasaki’s newest picture book, Ripples, is a nuanced, lyrical celebration of our connections to each other and the environment.
