adidas provides the ultimate FIFA World Cup 26™ fan experience here at Brooklyn Bridge Park!

We’re excited to welcome adidas Home of Soccer in New York to Brooklyn Bridge Park, providing the ultimate FIFA World Cup 26™ fan experience! This event kicks off this weekend and takes place in Emily Warren Roebling Plaza from June 13–July 19.

Open daily from 12 PM–10 PM, the experience will feature live screenings of select matches, a soccer pitch for 3v3 play, food vendors and a beer garden, interactive experiences, and cultural programming celebrating New York City and global soccer fandom. This is a free event and tickets will be required.

Free tickets to the adidas Home of Soccer in New York will be released starting June 12, ahead of opening day on June 13. Tickets are free to reserve, but do not guarantee entry, with admission granted on a first come, first served basis. Reservations will open on a rolling basis, allowing you to book 24 hours in advance.

Please note the space is fully closed on July 3–5 for 4th of July celebrations. There are no matches on July 8, July 12, and July 13, but the event space will be open to the public.

On the dates noted below, event programming will extend beyond the hours typically permitted under the NYC Noise Code. The City has approved these extended hours, and we are working with adidas to minimize noise impacts on nearby residents.

  • 6/18: Mexico vs Korea (9:00 PM game start, 11:30 PM event close)
  • 6/19: Brazil vs Haiti (9:00 PM game start, 11:30 PM event close)
  • 6/25: Turkey vs USA (10:00 PM game start, 12:30 AM event close)
  • 6/26: Uruguay vs Spain (8:00 PM game start, 10:30 PM event close)
  • 7/11: Quarterfinal match – teams TBD (9:00 PM game start, 11:30 PM event close)

 

LIVE MUSIC

On select dates, the adidas Home of Soccer in New York will also host performances from a range of artists, including PinkPantheress and rapper Larry June on June 26, and a special guest on July 18 to be announced later. More details to be announced on adidas.com.

Community Impacts

Brooklyn Bridge Park is excited to welcome New Yorkers and visitors from around the world to celebrate the World Cup, and we recognize that an event of this scale can have impacts on our neighbors and the surrounding community. We are taking proactive steps to manage impacts and ensure the park continues to be a welcoming place for residents and visitors alike. We extend our sincere thanks to our partners across City government whose collaboration and dedication help make this event possible.

Safety & Security

In addition to NYPD and enhanced Park Enforcement Patrol (PEP) adidas will provide additional dedicated security, as well as on-site EMS personnel, including an ambulance, during all operating hours.

Transportation & Sanitation

A portion of Water St. between Old Fulton St. and Dock St. will be closed to vehicular traffic during this activation. Vehicles will have access to the River Café, turning off of Old Fulton Street, as indicated in the map below.

DOT will be re-routing the B25 bus and removing the tour bus signage from Front St.

DSNY will be providing additional cleaning and trash pick-ups to the surrounding area with high pedestrian traffic.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is committed to using the revenue it receives from this event to expand our free public and education programming which serves our immediate neighbors and beyond. This expansion includes increased Movies With a View screenings, additional recreation and fitness classes, and education programs throughout the Park.
