Our education program is dedicated to teaching people of all ages and backgrounds about Brooklyn Bridge Park’s unique built and natural environment.

Programs focus on STEAM, and they are experiential, inquiry-based, and fun! They include K–12 field trips, public and teen programs, drop-in hours at our education center, and professional development.

Located at 99 Plymouth Street, visitors can drop in to our free Environmental Education Center for self-guided exploration of our live animal displays, interactive activities, and programs. Monthly themes cover a range of topics from the natural and built environments of Brooklyn Bridge Park, such as sustainability, pollination, geology, insects, and plants. The Environmental Education Center is open to families and park visitors on weekends as well as for after-school hours.
