Due to several weather cancellations this summer, we’ve added an additional date to our Movies With A View presented by Persol, on Thursday, September 3 – and YOU will get to choose what movie is shown!
This comedy-drama follows as a young woman chases her passion for soccer despite her family’s wishes.
New York’s own Lin-Manuel Miranda’s imaginative retelling of American founding father Alexander Hamilton. This is the filmed version of the Broadway production – singing along encouraged!
This box-office hit comedy features career-defining performances by Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy and more.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food for picnicking and encouraged to support nearby Park concessions and neighborhood restaurants. Popcorn, water, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages (for those 21+) will be available for sale on-site by Fornino. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or small soft cushions but reminded that lawn chairs and dogs are not permitted on the lawn, and glass bottles and outside alcohol are never allowed in the Park.

Chairs (other than wheelchairs) are not allowed on the lawn, so please bring your own picnic blanket or personal cushion. Portable stadium-style cushion seats without legs or hard pieces are a great option.
For those who require physical accommodations, there is a limited seating area on the pavement for chairs. Please bring your own chair.
Dogs are not allowed on the lawns at any time, per Park rules, and we ask you keep your pet at home for their own comfort and safety, as our events can get loud and be busy, with exception of service animals.
Yes! Feel free to bring in your own food, whether a homemade picnic, pizza, or take-out on the go, but a reminder that outside alcohol and glass is always prohibited in the Park. Please be advised that bag checks will be conducted at the entrance.
Beverages (water, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages for those 21+) and light movie concessions will be available for purchase on-site along the Pier 1 Promenade (bottom of the hill near the movie screen and water’s edge).
Please clean up all trash as you depart.

No! All Movies With A View events are free and open to the public, capacity is first come, first served – no advanced registration is required. We recommend arriving early to claim your spot on the lawn. Please note that once the lawn reaches capacity, we may need to turn people away or implement a “one-in, one-out” policy.
All movies are captioned in English.
If you require physical accommodations to set up your own chair, please see a Brooklyn Bridge Park staff member at one of our welcome tents upon arrival – there is limited reserved seating at the top of the lawn (on the pavement). Chairs, other than wheelchairs, are not allowed on the lawn, but you may use your own picnic blanket or personal-sized cushion. Portable stadium-style cushion seats, without legs or hard pieces, are a great option to provide back support, and permitted on the lawn.

The lawn opens at 6:00 PM, movies begin at sundown. Capacity is first-come, first served. We recommend arriving early to move through bag check, stake out a good spot, and take in the spectacular skyline!
The nearest restrooms are available at Pier 1 Pavilion and Pier 2 (orange shipping container building). Wayfinding signs are posted on movie nights. View the Park map.
Movie goers may use bike rack near the Pier 1 Pavilion, or Pier 2 entrance. Bikes will not be allowed onto the lawn, and should not be locked to fences, barricades, or other unauthorized areas.
At Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn. Entrances are at the top of the lawn and along Pier 1 Promenade. Directional signage will be posted during each movie. Click here to open Google Map directions.

No, all Movies With A View events are open to all ages. However, guardians should be aware that titles may include PG-13 and R rated selections, which are clearly noted. We encourage guardians to do their own research ahead of time to ensure the movie is suiting and appropriate for your children. Additionally, all minors should be accompanied by an adult. Brooklyn Bridge Park is not responsible for gauging appropriateness of titles for movie-goers.
Yes. If you have lost an item please complete this form here, if the item is found we will contact you. If you find an item in the Park you can give it to any Park staff member or drop it at the Park Enforcement Police office at 99 Plymouth St. during business hours.

There are limited metered parking spaces in a public parking lot on Furman Street near Pier 2. The parking spaces are metered for both a minimum and a maximum of three hours. Please note that parking on the Loop Road (between Pier 5 and Pier 6) is not allowed, it is a drop-off space only.
There are two paid parking garages in the Park. A parking garage operated by City Parking is located near Pier 6, accessible on the south side of 360 Furman Street. A parking garage operated by LAZ is located near Pier 1, accessible on the south side of 90 Furman Street (under Squibb Bridge). Additionally, several paid garages are located within short walking distance to the Park.
