Art Under the Bridge

Interested in learning a new artmaking technique while getting hands-on with natural materials? Join us for a free basket-weaving workshop where you will learn weaving techniques with plant materials pre-collected from Brooklyn Bridge Park. This workshop is intended for ages 12 and up, but all are welcome. Materials will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accessibility Note: This workshop will take place on the Empire Fulton Ferry Lawn, with mostly flat, grass-covered ground and surrounded by paved paths. Seating will be on cushions and a limited number of short stools. The closest restrooms are in Time Out Market, about 550 ft away, or at the Pier 1 Pavilion, about 900 ft away. Please reach out to education@bbp.nyc for any accessibility needs or questions.
