Fall Migration Bird Walk

Sunday, October 25, 2026 · 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Pier 1

Join Brooklyn Bridge Park educators on a bird walk around Pier 1. We will looking for some of our fall migrating species that pass through the Park on their way south for the winter. We’re likely to see some warblers, sparrows, and maybe flycatchers.

All ages and skill levels welcome. We will have some binoculars available to borrow, but bring your own if you have them. The walk will be first-come-first-serve with 30 spots. Preregistration is encouraged, but not required. This walk meets at the Pier 1 Pavilion.

Accessibility Notice: Please reach out to education@bbp.nyc for any accessibility needs or questionsThe walk will begin at the Pier 1 Pavilion. We will mostly be walking on paved paths, but possibly cross some grass. There are a few steps along one path, which can be detoured around if anyone needs to. Closest bathrooms are located at the Pavilion.
