All movies are captioned in English. Chairs, other than wheelchairs, are not allowed on the lawn.

  • Can I bring my own chairs, or my dog? What can I bring?

Chairs (other than wheelchairs) are not allowed on the lawn, so please bring your own picnic blanket. Portable stadium-style cushion seats without legs or hard pieces are a great option. Dogs and all pets are highly discouraged. While you will be given entry, you will need to stay on the paths and your dog leashed at all times – dogs are not allowed on the lawns at any time, per Park rules. We highly discourage bringing any pet to a Movie With A View event – it’s often very crowded, loud, and can be quite warm before the sun sets! For the comfort and safety of your pet and those around you, we highly suggest you leave your pet at home.

Outside alcohol and glass are always prohibited. Please note all bags will be checked for the safety of all.

  • Are there age restrictions for movies?

No, all Movies With A View events are open to all ages. However, guardians should be aware that titles may include PG-13 and R rated selections, which are clearly noted on each movie page. We encourage guardians to do their own research ahead of time to ensure the movie is suiting and appropriate for your children. Additionally, all minors should be accompanied by an adult. The Conservancy is not responsible for gauging appropriateness of titles for movie-goers.

  • Where can I park my bike?

Movie goers may also use bike rack near the Pier 1 entrance. Bikes will not be allowed onto the lawn, and should not be locked to fences or other unauthorized areas.

  • How are movie titles selected?

All Movies With A View titles are carefully selected by the Conservancy’s Volunteer Film Committee. The Committee selects a theme each year, and works to curate a broad selection of suiting titles for the public to enjoy. Please note that screening rights and screening costs also are factored into their decisions (for example, we would not be able to show a brand new titles still in theaters).
