Nature Journaling: Insect Study

Do you feel like you need a moment of pause and a deeper connection with nature? Join us on the first Saturday of each month for a free nature journaling workshop. The 90-minute workshop helps you start or expand your nature journaling practice, providing you with ecological context, thematic prompts and time to journal.

This month’s theme, “Insect Study”, invites you to zoom in and closely notice the diversity of insects all around us. Learn about the wonderful world of insects as you reflect on the value of what is often overlooked. Taking place at Pier 6, educators will be waiting by the Pier 6 Ferry Terminal until 10:05am before moving to the site of the workshop.

This series is intended for adults, but all are welcome. Materials are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, but we encourage you to bring your own materials and journals if you have them. This event is first come, first serve, with 20 total spots available. Advance registration encouraged but not required. Educators will be waiting by the Pier 6 Ferry Terminal until 10:05am before moving to the site of the workshop within Pier 6.
