One of the best ways to connect with Walt is to walk in his footsteps! Join for our free Walt Whitman Walking Tour for an exploration into Whitman’s world. Walt was a passionate walker during his lifetime and used the walk as a way to explore and come in contact with the rapidly changing world around him. Presented by Walt Whitman Initiative in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.

Don’t miss the Walt Whitman’s Song of Myself marathon reading the next day, on Sunday, September 15!
