Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse offers an indoor event space. It is used for various public programs and as a meeting space, along with hosting the new home of Bargemusic concerts, seasonally on the weekends.
The public space is located on the second floor (ADA accessible), with public restrooms adjacent. Downstairs provides small boat storage.
Yes, however a permit is required. School trips, field days, and camp groups are allowed for a maximum group size of 200, with 1 adult present for every 10 children. Brooklyn Bridge Park has a limited number of school bus layover parking and is not guaranteed. Insurance is required for schools outside of the New York City public school system. Please see the permits page for more information.
Brooklyn Bridge Park is accessible by several subway lines (A/C, 2/3, 4/5, F, R) and bus routes (B25, B61, B63, B67). Visitors can also arrive via the NYC Ferry at Fulton Ferry Landing and Pier 6. For Access-a-Ride access to Pier 1, please use the address 1 Water Street (corner of Old Fulton and Water Street). To enter the southern end of the park, please use the address 360 Furman Street and exit on the west side of the building.
Brooklyn Bridge Park is free to enter! There is no entrance fee to the Park and the majority of events are free. To use facilities not managed by BBP, such as Jane’s Carousel and Pier 2 Roller Rink there may be fees.
Yes, if you find an item in the Park you can give it to any Park staff member or drop it off at our office at 334 Furman Street (near Pier 5). If you have lost an item please complete this form here, if the item is found we will contact you.
