Brooklyn Bridge Park Celebrates Food, Hospitality and Culture at annual Women’s Lunch on May 1

April 23, 2026

Proceeds Supporting Brooklyn Bridge Park’s New Education Center

April 23, 2026— Brooklyn Bridge Park (BBP) celebrates its annual Women’s Lunch on Friday, May 1, bringing together visionary women across food, hospitality, and culture to explore the power of the shared table.

This year, the event is led by the theme of “The Shared Table”, bringing together three standout Brooklyn voices in the culinary world—Ashley Coiffard (L’Appartement 4F), Clare de Boer (Stissing House), and Alison Roman (author, chef, and creator)—for a lively conversation on the power of the shared table, moderated by Dee Poku-Spalding (Founder and CEO of the WIE Suite). From beloved neighborhood institutions to celebrated kitchens and media platforms, these women are shaping how we gather, cook, and connect. They lead an inspiring afternoon celebrating food’s ability to build community and spark creativity.

“What makes the Women’s Lunch so special is the community behind it—women who return each year with a shared dedication to Brooklyn Bridge Park and to one another. Their support not only creates a memorable afternoon, but also helps shape the future of the Park we all love,” shared Pippa Lord Hale and Linsey Snyder, Co-Chairs and Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy Board members.

Proceeds support Brooklyn Bridge Park’s new Education Center, planned on the ground floor of the Park offices at 334 Furman St., with construction starting in June. The new Education Center will more than double the space and capacity for gathering, programming, and community connection, presenting a new chapter of learning at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

“The Women’s Lunch has grown into a highly anticipated event every spring, thanks to the hard work of our development team and planning committee, led by co-chairs Pippa Lord Hale and Linsey Snyder,” shared Eric Landau, President of Brooklyn Bridge Park. “This year, we’ve assembled a fantastic panel of local women shaping the culinary world. Event proceeds will support the expansion of our Education Center—increasing our capacity to grow programs and broaden access to education that highlights the history, importance, and ecological richness of our local waterfront.”

Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Women’s Lunch takes place on Friday, May 1 from 12:00-2:30 PM at St. Ann’s Warehouse (45 Water Street, DUMBO). Full details and tickets can be found at bbpwomenslunch.org.
