WHAT: Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s 11th annual Brooklyn Black Tie Ball took place on October 9 . This year honored four remarkable Park champions who came together to realize a long awaited dream of an expansive Park on the Brooklyn waterfront: Daniel L. Doctoroff, Founder and Chairman of Target ALS; Regina Myer, President of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership; Nanette Smith, Bloomberg LP; and Brooklyn Bridge Park Landscape Architects Michael Van Valkenburgh and MVVA. Brooklyn Bridge Park would literally not be here without their leadership.

Supporters of the Brooklyn Black Tie Ball are the champions of the Conservancy’s commitment to providing free access to its vibrant array of cultural offerings, invigorating fitness endeavors, and enriching educational experiences for all New Yorkers. This year, the Ball raised a record $1.75M.
