After your holiday, bring your tree to Brooklyn Bridge Park, or any Mulchfest location, and we’ll chip your tree into wood chips that will be used to nourish trees and make NYC even greener.
DROP OFF LOCATIONS AT BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK (DEC. 26 – JAN 06):
- Pier 5 – Near OddFellows Ice Cream
- Fruit Street Sitting Area near Squibb Park, Brooklyn Heights Promenade
- Pier 3 Plaza (drop off and chipping location)
- Dock Street, between Empire Stores and St. Ann’s Warehouse
- Jay Street Entrance
*Drop off you tree at any of these locations between December 26 – January 6. Please remember to remove all lights, ornaments, and netting before bringing the tree to a Mulchfest site.
Bring your tree to a chipping site on Chipping Weekend to take home a tree-mento! We’ll chip your tree and give you your very own bag of mulch to use in your backyard or to make a winter bed for a street tree.
