Please join Brooklyn Bridge Park and DUMBO Dads Run Club on the last Sunday of each month for some fun and fitness. We would like to invite all families and participants of all abilities to join us for a two-mile run/walk. Meet and depart from Pier 1 Vale Lawn and follow the route south along the Piers. Maps will be provided. Running and walking strollers welcome. Please bring your own, they will not be provided.

Advance registration is highly encouraged but walk-ups welcome – check with Brooklyn Bridge Park staff, like any other fitness class. Fitness waivers are required by all participants (click here; you only need to complete once per season). Please note that holiday weekends may be skipped; please check our schedule.

Yes. There are water fountains throughout Brooklyn Bridge Park and each has a water bottle filling feature.
Water fountains are turned off for the winter season when outside temperatures reach freezing.
Parking near Brooklyn Bridge Park is very limited. We recommend using public transportation, biking, or walking to the Park. BBP is accessible by bus, subway and ferry. Get details on ways to get to the Park.
There are limited metered parking spaces in a public parking lot on Furman Street near Pier 2. The parking spaces are metered for both a minimum and a maximum of three hours. Please note that parking on the Loop Road (between Pier 5 and Pier 6) is not allowed, it is a drop-off space only.
There are two paid parking garages in the Park. A parking garage operated by City Parking is located near Pier 6, accessible on the south side of 360 Furman Street. A parking garage operated by LAZ is located near Pier 1, accessible on the south side of 90 Furman Street (under Squibb Bridge). Additionally, several paid garages are located within short walking distance to the Park.
Leashed dogs are welcome on park pathways, but dogs are not allowed on lawns. There are two dog runs: one located at Pier 6 and one at John Street, each open 6:30am–10:00pm daily. Dog runs are routinely washed and pet waste bags are available at each dog run. Dogs must be licensed with visible identification tags and vaccinated for rabies.
Non-salt ice melt is used on park pathways during icy conditions.

Yes! There are lots of places to eat and drink in and near Brooklyn Bridge Park. Please browse through all the park concessions and nearby eateries. Many nearby restaurants, cafés, and bars are listed on online with the DUMBO BID, Atlantic Avenue BID, Montague Street BID, and Downtown Brooklyn.
Yes, if you find an item in the Park you can give it to any Park staff member or drop it off at our office at 334 Furman Street (near Pier 5). If you have lost an item please complete this form here, if the item is found we will contact you.
