Join our Docents for a free walking tour and learn more about Brooklyn Bridge Park’s history, design, and ecology. Tours last roughly 60-90 minutes, start from the entrance of Pier 1 and finish near Pier 3.

Advance registration is required. Registration opens a month in advance of each date.

Construction of the park began in January 2009.

The Brooklyn Bridge opened on May 14th, 1883. It was the first bridge to cross the East River, the largest suspension bridge built at the time, and was called the “eighth wonder of the world.”
