Get your blood pumping with this fun and exciting zumba class led by Dodge YMCA! This all-level one hour fitness class is open to all ages and abilities.
ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music, utilizing dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness program. The routines feature aerobic training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Note this class takes place on a paved area – sneakers are highly recommended!
Advance registration is highly encouraged but walk-ups welcome as capacity allows. Fitness waivers are required by all participants (click here; you only need to complete once per season). Please note that holiday weekends may be skipped; please check our schedule.

Yes. There are water fountains throughout Brooklyn Bridge Park and each has a water bottle filling feature.
Water fountains are turned off for the winter season when outside temperatures reach freezing.
Yes, walk ups will be accommodated on-site as capacity allows, but advance registration is encouraged. Please register at the welcome table and ensure you fill out our fitness waiver prior to participating. Individuals who have not completed a waiver will not be permitted to join. You only need to fill out the waiver once per season – it covers all fitness classes.
There is no age minimum to participate, but those under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian complete the fitness waiver on their behalf. Children and teens under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
Yes, if you find an item in the Park you can give it to any Park staff member or drop it off at our office at 334 Furman Street (near Pier 5). If you have lost an item please complete this form here, if the item is found we will contact you.
Parking near Brooklyn Bridge Park is very limited. We recommend using public transportation, biking, or walking to the Park. BBP is accessible by bus, subway and ferry. Get details on ways to get to the Park.
There are limited metered parking spaces in a public parking lot on Furman Street near Pier 2. The parking spaces are metered for both a minimum and a maximum of three hours. Please note that parking on the Loop Road (between Pier 5 and Pier 6) is not allowed, it is a drop-off space only.
There are two paid parking garages in the Park. A parking garage operated by City Parking is located near Pier 6, accessible on the south side of 360 Furman Street. A parking garage operated by LAZ is located near Pier 1, accessible on the south side of 90 Furman Street (under Squibb Bridge). Additionally, several paid garages are located within short walking distance to the Park.
