The Main Street Dog run closed in November 2024. It was temporarily relocated on the John Street lawn – closer to the Jay street side with fencing and wood chips. This is a pilot dog run location, and if it proves successful, Brooklyn Bridge Park will undertake a capital project in the future to create a permanent dog run in this location.

DOG RUN RULES

Dog run hours are 6:30am – 10:00pm daily.
Dogs are required to be on-leash in all other areas of Brooklyn Bridge Park at all times.
NYC law requires dogs to be on a leash 6 feet or shorter at all times, except in designated areas.
Owners must be in control of their dogs at all times.
Please dispose of dog waste properly.
Dogs are never allowed in playgrounds, on lawns, or designated sports areas.
Do not allow dogs to dig – holes create trip hazards.
