Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy Announces Chris Coffey and Larkyn Sinclair as Co-Chairs

March 16, 2026

BROOKLYN, March 16, 2026 – Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy (“Conservancy”) announced the election of Chris Coffey and Larkyn Sinclair as Co-Chairs. The approval took place at the Conservancy’s recent Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, March 11.

Chris Coffey has served on the Conservancy’s Board since 2014, and led as the Chair since April 2019. Larkyn Sinclair has served on the Conservancy’s Board since 2019 and works at Goldman Sachs, as Head of Investment Banking Marketing.

“I warmly welcome Larkyn as my Co-Chair,” Coffey said. “It’s an exciting time of change for the Conservancy, following our formal unification and consolidation with Brooklyn Bridge Park last summer. It’s letting us plan and dream towards even bigger future goals, including the planning of a new Education Center. We’re able to provide programming, education, waterfront access, and greenspace for all of Brooklyn and NYC to enjoy.”

The Conservancy acts as an independent nonprofit, with its updated mission to fundraise park improvement projects for Brooklyn Bridge Park.

“I’m honored to Co-Chair with Chris,” shared Sinclair. “I’ve worked alongside him on the Conservancy’s board for seven years, and eager to step further into a leadership role as we work towards new opportunities to continue to support and help Brooklyn Bridge Park be one of the best parks in NYC, making it world-class destination with locals and visitors.”

“We’re grateful for the continued leadership and expertise of Chris and Larkyn as Co-Chairs of the Conservancy,” shared Eric Landau, President of Brooklyn Bridge Park. “The Park is in an incredibly exciting chapter—welcoming over 5 million visitors each year and continually elevating the visitor experience. As we look ahead, we’re focused on enhancing the Park’s spaces, programs, and accessibility to continue to welcome and inspire even more people. The Conservancy’s ongoing work helps make this possible.”
