Summer Camp Visits

The cost for each program is $150.

Brooklyn Bridge Park offers free summer field trip education lessons to camps or organizations whose missions offer completely free or low-cost programming for the majority of its participants. Brooklyn Bridge Park will assess your organization’s mission and rates in making this determination.

Each lesson is for one hour.

There is a maximum capacity of 35 students and 6 chaperones per program.

Each program offering can accommodate a maximum of 35 students and 6 chaperones.

Please note, in order to meet demand a single camp or organization can book a maximum of four lessons each summer.

Our programs are very hands-on and adaptable for all types of learners! When you are filling out your registration form, please be sure to include as much detail as you can regarding your students’ learning needs. If you have specific questions about which program would be best for your students, please contact the Education Department at education@bbp.nyc.

• Organizations whose missions offer completely free or low-cost summer programming for the majority of their participants:
  • A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • If you cancel between 2 weeks and 24 hours prior to the scheduled visit, a $50 fee will be charged.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or fail to attend, a $125 fee will be charged.
• Organizations whose missions do not offer completely free or low-cost summer programming for the majority of their participants:
  • Full refund if cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled program.
  • Partial refund (minus $50) if cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled program.
  • No refund if cancelled less than 24 hours prior; the full $125 fee will be charged.

Cancellations by BBP: In the event of severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, thunder, lightning, extreme heat), or other safety concerns, BBP may cancel classes/programs in its sole discretion. If a class or program is cancelled, BBP will make every effort to reschedule or provide a full refund.
