Green Team

Join us for an extra special Green Team to start off the season! Volunteers will support preparing our lawns for re-seeding, by helping to remove weeds from Pier 3.  

This is a great chance to get outdoors, learn about turf care at BBP, make a visible difference alongside other park-lovers. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.  

Volunteers of all ages are welcome (under 16’s must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian).  

No orientation or gardening experience is needed; staff provide all the guidance, supervision, tools, and supplies.  

Advance registration is required and spaces are limited.

To register:  

• New volunteers, please create a Volunteer Profile to sign up for opportunities  

• Registered volunteers, please log-in to your volunteer profile to schedule yourself

Full details, including location of the activity, will be emailed to registered volunteers a few days before the event.  

Note: If you’re not seeing any dates available when trying to sign up for a Green Team opportunity, it’s either because all the spots have been filled, or the event has not yet opened for sign-ups. Keep an eye out for communications from us regarding upcoming opportunities and updates!
